Led by CEO Will Hayes, California-based SaaS developer Lucidworks has developed powerful search technology platforms for dozens of multinationals in various industries including Honeywell, Monsanto, and American Express. In anticipation of the exponential growth of enterprise-generated data, Canadian digital solution provider Igloo initiated a partnership with Lucidworks to leverage the firm’s machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities into the search software used by Igloo’s clients.
Founded in 2008, Igloo, an award-winning small business recognized for its innovative products, develops applications, digital workplace features, and integrated software solutions for diverse industries including education, retail, finance, hospitality, and healthcare. The company has branches in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia and employs more than 200 people worldwide.
As databases grow at unprecedented rates, modern workplaces require more intelligent search platforms to quickly obtain pertinent information. The partnership will enable Igloo to shift from a keyword-based search platform to a more relevant and responsive AI-based search experience.
