Lucidworks Releases New Features in Fusion 4.1

Lucidworks is an enterprise search technology company with a strong focus on artificial intelligence. Lucidworks developed Fusion, which features AI-powered search and discovery solutions that include other functions such as analytics, connectors to file systems, databases, data stores, query results training, visualization, signal processing, and a monitoring console.

In August 2018, Lucidworks released Fusion 4.1, an update to the application development platform focused on building stronger analytics capabilities for its users. Some of the updates include an upgrade to Fusion’s SQL compatibility, Fusion App Studio integration, new data acquisition features, and enhanced Admin UI.

The upgraded Fusion’s SQL compatibility reduces the response time to 250ms to query the index with commands and tools across two billion documents. The Fusion App Studio is now fully integrated with the Fusion admin interface, which allows teams to access data acquisition and develop prototypes faster. Fusion 4.1 has also expanded its data source applications to include Microsoft’s OneDrive in the search results index. To improve the user experience, Lucidworks simplified its back-end interface by deploying new features such as autocomplete fields, expandable code editors, and resizable panels.
